Florida man accused of biting woman several times, punching her over 100 times
WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. (WPEC) — A 22-year-old man was arrested last week after allegedly battering his girlfriend in a car.
The incident took place in late July, and the suspect, Burger King cook Keyshawn Nicholson, was booked into the Palm Beach County Jail on August 22 where he remains as of Wednesday afternoon. He is charged with false imprisonment and battery, records show.
On July 24, dispatchers received two emergency calls -- possibly from the same person -- claiming there was a fight between a man and woman. The caller reported the woman was screaming, according to the affidavit.
The Riviera Beach Police Department (RBPD) officers found the fighting couple, and the victim was taken to St. Mary's Hospital where she recounted the incident to officers.
A verbal argument started between the woman and Nicholson over her not handing over her cellphone. According to the affidavit, the 22-year-old punched and bit her three times each. She escaped the car to find help but was soon dragged back by her hair.
Where the f*** you going and sit your a** down right here," Nicholson is alleged to have said. The affidavit stated Nicholson ordered her back inside the vehicle, which she complied with, where he continued hitting her, biting her, scratching her.
Stop, you are going to kill me," the woman told officers she pleaded with Nicholson. She escaped yet again, running away to find help.
Nicholson caught up to her, and she was dragged back by her hair once more, the affidavit said.
Where the f*** do you think you are going," the man allegedly said to the woman, forcing her into the car again. At this time, the victim told RBPD officers she saw police cars passing by. One of the officers approached the pair and ordered Nicholson to let go of the woman. He did but fled.
The woman claimed she was forced to stay in the vehicle and was punched over 100 times. At the hospital, officers took note of her injuries: bruises, a bloodied nose and lips, scratches and bite marks. The affidavit reported a total of 11 bites on her leg, hand, shoulder, cheek, neck and arms.Nicholson's next hearing is scheduled for October 12.
