She has played for the likes of Tottenham Hotspur and Lyon in Europe and San Diego Wave, Seattle Sounders Women, Western New York Flash, Portland Thorns FC, West Coast FC and many more in Major League Soccer. As an international soccer star, she is one of the most recognisable figures. She also has 121 international goals for the U.S. Soccer team and is a two-time FIFA World Cup champion.

Morgan has signed several endorsement deals with businesses including Nike, Panasonic, AT&T, Chobani, McDonald’s, P&G, Mondelez International, and Coca-Cola. Her other commercial deals include Bank of America, Health product company GNC. She made appearances on behalf of Ubisoft promoting the launch of their video game, Just Dance 4, appeared in television commercials for Bridgestone and joined a two-year partnership as the spokesperson for ChapStick.

She starred in a Nationwide Mutual Insurance Company commercial that was broadcast nationwide in the United States. She appeared in commercials for Chobani. Morgan joined the team of ambassadors at Molecule, an athlete recovery mattress and bedding company.

She was born to Pamela Morgan and Michael Morgan in Los Angeles County in San Dimas. She had support from her family to become a soccer player as her father was one of the first coaches she had. 

Morgan’s husband Servando Carrasco is a San Diego/Tijuana native and a professional soccer player himself. They met as undergrads at Berkeley, then followed each other around the country and world throughout their careers. Morgan married soccer player Servando Carrasco on New Year’s Eve 2014. In October 2019, the couple announced they were expecting a baby girl in April 2020. Their daughter, Charlie Elena Carrasco, was born on May 7 of that year.
